Hello guys! Suddenly, an idea to make this kind of blog just popped out of my mind. So here I am, writing to express my idea about the statement mentioned above.
As the title says, "What Happiness Should Be Like." This blog just solely came from my own opinion, and I am not claiming that everyone should see things the way I see them. I mean, we are all different, right?
I am not a perfect person, that I admit. Nobody is. But that doesn't give us an excuse to commit any kind of sin, whether big or not, still it is called a sin.
Real Happiness- If I were to pertain whether who - adults or children could describe this best, I will say that children has a higher percentage to modify what this word really meant.
(picture came from: www.sosphilippines.org)
Like what Jesus said, not exactly, but similar to this idea. He said that whoever is childlike has a higher advantage of being with Him in the future than those who are not.
On my own interpretation, Jesus said these so because children live life in the SIMPLE, HAPPY AND CONTENTED way.
And living life the way they do is what will bring us to REAL HAPPINESS.
In the modern days, though some won't admit, half or one-fourth of the population live for fame, money , power and authority. And this is not what God wants us to spent our life with.
It is not bad to acquire power, actually. However, this power should be use not only by the authorized person, but this should be use for the benefit of all.
There is a quotation I've read at the back of the test paper we had during our periodical test. It says,
"There is enough resources for everyone on Earth, but not enough for a man's greed."
Truly, this statement is true. But why do some or almost all people on Earth got nothing to eat, shelter to sleep and a decent life to live?
It's because people who had the greater chance to live a more decent life chose not to share their blessings with others. I know, and I am not saying that it is bad to acquire possessions because I know that some worked hard to be where they are now, all I want to say is that, once they reached the top, may they never forget the less fortunate people who need them.
I am also not saying that all less fortunate people should just stay in their comfort and beg for help to the ones who lives more decent than them. I know that it is not a sin to be born poor, but I also know that it is a sin to die poor, because God gave us life and He wanted us to enrich it with the resources He had given us. Like the parable of the Talents.
Additionally, and undeniably, almost half of the population burn the midnight oil just to earn money, just to call their selves rich because they thought that when they're rich they can achieve what they think real happiness means.
People need to change their perspective about what real happiness is-- It is not about the possessions, fame, authority or even power that will give us real happiness. It is simply all about living SIMPLE, HAPPY and CONTENTED , knowing that we are not stepping on others dignity, rather we are helping each one of us like those innocent children who God loves.
